Emma Wills has quickly emerged as one of the most compelling and innovative guitarists of her generation. In 2021, Emma became the Ambassador for the Romantic guitar at the Belgium music instrument museum, Museum Vleeshuis. In 2022, she was recognized as a Promising young musician in the De Twintigers series on Belgium’s classical radio Klara, and in the year after she was awarded Laureate 2023 by the Belgian Foundation Vocatio for her work in reviving the forgotten repertoire of the romantic guitar on historical instruments.
Emma conquers international stages and renowned festivals across Europe such as the Concertgebouw Brugge for the Musique Antique Festival, Grand Manè€ge Concert Hall Namur, Musica Devina Festival, Walden Festival, Ullapool Guitarfestival (UK), Concentus Moraviae (CZ), Barock bis rock (DE), among others, and captivates international audiences with performances that transcend the traditional boundaries of the classical guitar.
